The Joy of Herbs

It is with great joy that I work with the herbal medicines that grow around us. I have been studying herbalism for more than 3 deacdes, and I continue to learn new and amazing things each season. I am passionate about teaching people to take control of their own health, and how herbs can play a significant role in that. There is nothing I love more than teaching people how to make their own medicine to cure what ails them!

Spiritual and Emotional Support

One of the things I appreciate the most about herbalism is that it treats the person as a whole being and addresses physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual health as a continuum that each effect the other. Herbs can be very effective supports when you are going through times of great grief, heartache, anxiety, depression and exhaustion. In my clinical herbalism practice I can help you address these issues and the physical symptoms they maybe causing.

Services offered

I incorporate my herbal practice into my midwifery and doula services, and I also provide clinical herbal consultations. For an herbal consultation, you would come to my office and we would have a cup of tea and a chat about what you are experiencing. You would go home with herbs to help address your concerns, or a plan to get them. Herbal supports can be used in conjunction with allopathic medicines.

In 2025 I will also be offering plant identification wallks, and medicine making classes. Check our website periodically for new event announcements!
